So, I want to continue with this theme but from a different tack! SIGNificant. Note the SIGN in SIGNificant! So, here’s a thought! If God wanted to get our attention to tell us something [and remember, the majority wont read the Bible! Even many Christians and even less the book of Revelation! How would or could He get our attention? Well, maybe He could send us a ‘natural’ message, or show us a SIGN? Listen to this: God said, “Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to separate the day from the night. They will mark events, sacred seasons, days, and years. Genesis 1:14
Jesus Christ and the apostle John describe terrifying supernatural signs in the sun, moon and stars before and during the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord. Why will God send these signs in the end times? Is it possible that the Almighty one is ALREADY trying to get our attention? Jesus said “Now when these things begin to occur, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption (deliverance) is drawing near. Luke 21:28 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC) This is very often interpreted as look up, cheer up, be positive, and to a degree it’s a correct interpretation! However, it can also mean to ‘look up, or keep looking upwards, skywards! Is it possible that Jesus not only wanted us to keep an upward positive outlook when these awful things begin to or continue to happen, but also to ‘look up, or keep up the upward look also!’ Look into the sky, because the SUN, MOON and STARS are not just to mark the days and seasons, but they also act as signs and portends of things to come!
With that in mind, look at this chart below [FIG 1] which WILL occur on the 23rd of September this year and compare it to Revelation 12:1-2! I’ll leave you to chew on it for a while!
And a great sign (wonder)—[warning of future events of ominous significance] appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and with a crown-like garland (tiara) of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and she cried out in her birth pangs, in the anguish of her delivery.Revelation 12:1-2 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
